Ratio (Perimeter on Plan): A measure of plan compactness, computed by relating the perimeter of a building at typical floor level to that of a circle enclosing the same area and expressing the result as a percentage. [200 x (the square root of pi x FECA) divided by the perimeter] OR = perimeter of a building divided into the perimeter of a circle of the same area and multiplied by 100. [NPWC]
