Meaning of marriage :
The permanent, faithful union of a man and woman. open to children and willing to share all aspects of life together. When a Christian man and woman enter into marriage, it is considered one of the seven sacraments of the Church, also called Matrimony. The essential part of that sacrament is the exchange of vows of the couple in the presence of at least two witnesses and the subsequent giving of themselves to each other in all areas of life.
For the term marriage may also exist other definitions and meanings, the meaning and definition indicated above are indicative not be used for medical and legal or special purposes.
