Meaning of gentiles :
A Jewish reference to all non-Jewish people. Paul will often use the fact that the gospel is for both Jews and Gentiles as a way to talk about how amazing the message of Jesus is. It is for everyone and is meant to unite everyone, even those who originally had little in common.
