Meaning and definition of ring topology :
Ring Topology: This is a physical topology in which the hosts are connected in a ring or circle. It is similar to the bus topology accept the first host is connected to the last. A frame called a token is sent around the ring which stops at each host, which then transfers any information with it’s address information to the frame. This is then removed when the frame stops at the destination host.
